


What exactly goes into creating the amazing human and hybrid characters for Beyond Good and Evil 2? Three of our Character Artists – Sébastien, Pascal and Anthony – participated in this year’s ZBrush Summit in Los Angeles where they talked about the creative and production processes for 3D modeling, and more particularly their work with Unit Image on BGE2’s two cinematic trailers.īeyond Good & Evil 2 is being developed on Voyager, a new proprietary engine and set of tools the team at Ubisoft Montpellier spent three years building. This time we are dealing with the planet’s future, and the relationship with animals. Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be in continuity with the first game, with a big variety of levels, lots of emotion in the gameplay, and characters we care about.
